This beautiful hand carved owl spirit is adorned with 3 perfect, sparkly herkimers. Our owl has been cast into solid sterling silver and each special owl is absolutely one of a kind, no two can ever be exactly alike. An ethereal and empowering statement piece.

Owls are magical creatures and have been sacred in so many cultures around the world. The owl was often depicted with the Greek Goddess Athena. It's also symbolic of intelligence, and wealth (even being depicted on currency). Native Americans associate owls with wisdom, foresight, and keepers of sacred knowledge. Both West African and Aboriginal Australian cultures view owls as messengers of secrets and companions to medicine people. During medieval times, owls were thought to be priestesses and wizards in disguise.

Dimenstions: wingspan across approx. 2 inches. Pendant length from top to bottom is approx. 1.5 inches. This baby hangs on an 18" - 20" adjustable oxidized sterling silver bar chain and has a lobster claw clasp.
