Impala Skull with shimmering brick red Lodolite, One of a Kind hand made necklace

A beautiful Lodolite aka Chlorite Quartz is nestled perfectly between the impala skull horns. I do love my skulls and return to them often in my designs! This piece was initially hand sculpted in wax and then cast into solid sterling silver. Patina was added and the piece was polished one last time to reveal the lovely and eerie details of this piece. Love!

Dimensions: the pendant measures 1 1/4 inches in length and is 1" in width. It hangs on a 18" sterling silver adjustable chain and has a lobster claw clasp.

Freyja Jewels is a two person, female run handmade jewelry business. We design and create our pieces by hand every step of the way. We primarily utilize lost wax casting techniques, which involve miniature sculpting by hand in wax, before the wax pieces are cast into solid metal. We generate our inspiration from mysticism, folklore, pagan mythology, metaphysiology, and evoke themes of nature and celebrate animal imagery and powers. We embark on a journey to create a personal talisman for the wearer, something to empower the wearer once adorned with our work; as if one is wearing psychic armor.
